Oli started karting aged 9 where he displayed his talent immediately; winning his first novice race.
He went on to claim the Three Sisters Mini max championship in 2005. He then entered the T-Cars Championship whilst carrying on with his karting career.
In late 2005 he competed in the T-Cars Winter Series, picking up 2nd in the Championship.
Oli then started 2006 by winning 2 T-Car races at Brands Hatch followed by 11 further podium finishes with a record 7 fastest laps. He finished 3rd in the Championship.
During 2006 Oli was entered into the Formula BMW Scholarship Programme as one of just 6 young drivers, nominated by 1992 Formula One World Champion, Nigel Mansell.
In 2007 Oli entered the world of single seaters with Carlin Motorsport before coming 2nd in the Spanish Formula Renault Winter Championship.That year he picked up 10 podiums and 2 wins.
In 2010 he was 3rd in British Formula 3 with 3 wins, 14 podiums,
4 poles and 4 fastest laps on the way.
In 2011 he competed in the WorldSeries by Renault on his way to 3rd in the Rookie championship.
2013 was a busy year with 2nd in WorldSeries by Renault while competing in numerous Endurance events. In 2014 he completed the Dubai 24hours finishing 2nd and the Daytona 24 hour race with 8th Overall.
In 2014 he was crowned European Le Mans Champion and picked up 3rd in the famous Le Mans 24hour race, in 2015 he collected the Dubai 24 Hour Title.
So far in 2016 he has completed 3 races and picked up 3 podiums. The most noteworthy was coming back from 100th on the grid after a car fire to an incredible 2nd place at the Dubai 24 Hour Race. He will soon be announcing his drive for 2016 which will be with a high profile Title winning World Endurance Championship team
